My name is Alex, and I am a financial analyst living in the suburb of Charm City. I have always been financially conscious but never found a community of like-minded individuals with whom to discuss personal finance.

Fortunately, I found my tribe when I joined the local ChooseFI community in early 2018 and took over the administrator role when there was a leadership void in September 2018. Since then I have hosted monthly meetups and wrote regularly for the group.

When I am not blogging, I enjoy working out, hiking (or taking walks), board gaming, and NFL Football. I also find that it is a lot more enjoyable to share hobbies with a community of interested individuals so I may from time to time host non-FI related events.
